Orange Vale Water Company charges $60.00 per test which will show up as an adjustment to your bi-monthly bill. In the event the assembly fails the initial test you are responsible to have the device repaired or replaced. An Orange Vale Water Company Certified Tester will re-test the device at no additional charge.

Why Does Orange Vale Water need a Cross-Connection Control Program?

Because backflows can contaminate the drinking water in the public water system, California Code of Regulation, Title 17, requires each Water Supplier to protect the public water supply from contamination by implementing a State approved cross-connection control program. To ensure the drinking water quality in our system is safe, Orange Vale Water Company has a vigorous Cross-Connection Control Program.
